Member ANVR - Application ANVR Travelers Conditions

1. Applicability

These additional conditions apply to all travel agreements concluded with Eigen-Wijze Reizen B.V., in addition to the ANVR Travelers' Conditions. In case of contradictions, the ANVR conditions will prevail.

2. Bookings and Down Payments.

2.1 A booking is binding as soon as the traveller receives a written confirmation from Eigen-Wijze Reizen B.V..
2.2 Upon booking a down payment of 35% of the travel sum is due, plus any additional costs.
2.3 The remaining amount must be paid no later than 6 weeks before departure.

3. Cancellation by the Traveler.

3.1 Cancellation must be made in writing (by email or mail).
3.2 The following cancellation fees apply:

Up to 28 days before departure: 35% of the travel sum;
28 to 21 days before departure: 40%;
21 to 14 days before departure: 50%;
14 to 5 days before departure: 75%;
5 to 1 day before departure: 90%;
Within one day before departure or in case of no-show: 100%.

4. Changes by the Traveler.

4.1 Changes up to 14 days before departure are possible subject to availability.
4.2 Administration fee is €27 per change, plus any external charges.
4.3 Changes within 14 days before departure will be treated as cancellations.

5. Liability

5.1 Eigen-Wijze Reizen B.V. is liable for direct damage resulting from shortcomings in the execution of the contract, unless there is force majeure.
5.2 No liability is accepted for indirect damage or consequential damage.

6. Insurance

The traveler must arrange for adequate travel and (if desired) cancellation insurance. For certain trips, insurance may be mandatory.

7. Travel Documents and Health Requirements.

The traveler is responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccinations and other requirements. Eigen-Wijze Reizen B.V. is not liable for damages due to the lack thereof.

8. Complaint Procedure

Complaints should be reported on site immediately. If not satisfactorily resolved, the traveler may submit the complaint in writing to Eigen-Wijze Reizen B.V. within 1 month after returning home.

9. Applicable law and dispute resolution

Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions. Disputes will initially be dealt with through the ANVR Disputes Committee. If this is not possible, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of Overijssel.
